ABOUT ME

My name is James Wawrow, I am the Chiropractor here and I have been in practice since 1998. I founded Global Wellness in order to provide a multidisciplinary approach to healthcare. I was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. I am married to Leana and delighted to have 3 beautiful daughters – Emma, Holly and Jillian. I also enjoy playing hockey as a goalie.

EXPERIENCE

Since its inaugural season in 2008, I have been Team Chiropractor for the LaSalle Vipers Junior B Hockey Club. I was also a participating member of the Medical Team at the 2002 PGA AT&T Canada Senior Open and 1998 LPGA DuMaurier Classic Golf Tournament both held at Essex Golf and Country Club, LaSalle, Ontario.

University of Windsor - B.H.K. (Bachelor of Human Kinetics Degree)
- With Honours in Movement Science (Co-Op)

I am a preferred provider for Green Shield and WSIB and a member of the Ontario and Canadian Chiropractic Association. Studies following graduation include Low Intensity Laser Therapy, Orthotics, Medical Compression and Ottawa Heart Institute's Heart Wise Exercise Certifications.

Dr. Victoria Bourne

Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Victoria graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2021.

Her practice focuses on women's health concerns, burn out, pediatrics, digestion, and preventative medicine. Dr. Victoria is passionate about inspiring people on their health journey and showing up to see them thrive. In her spare time, Dr. Victoria reads, weight lifts, hikes, and bakes.

Mirela Iancu

Registered Massage Therapist

Mirela is a professional Massage Therapist with over 15 years of experience gathered in Romania, UK, and Canada. Her aim is to provide bespoke treatment with dedication and passion. Mirela is highly skilled in variety of massage styles including Reflexology, Relaxing, Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage and she uses the most appropriate and effective techniques required for each client. Mirela is recommended especially for Deep Tissue Massage. With a wealth of experience in the fields of therapeutic and Spa treatments she is ready to provide clients with an excellent massage.

Jennifer Stancato

Jen has been working in the wellness field for over 15 years as a patient liaison. Jen will happily take care of all of your scheduling and billing needs. She is well educated in areas that ensure natural living through the use of a healthy diet, lowering toxic burden, and detox strategies. She has a strong knowledge of supplements and a love for essential oils. In her spare time she enjoys making beautiful family memories with her husband and two children, cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs, and planning her next Disney World vacation.
